My all time favourite Dark chocolate from Lidl

My gorgeous Dessert I had in Ask on Sunday 28th February when we went out for a family meal

Daffodils the national flower of Wales and always used as part of the celebration of St David's Day on March 1st in the same way that the shamrock is used in the celebration of St. Patrick's day on March 17th

D is for Dinner Party

We had friends around for dinner and for main course we had Duck  with pork,apricot & orange stuffing from Waitrose

served with an orange sauce, Anna potatoes,carrots & broccoli
Starter was Leek & potato soup (home made). Dessert was a cheat -Asda Extra Special Melt in Middle Dark Chocolate Puddings they were yummy

A visit to Dyffryn Gardens

The first weekend of our D fortnight we went with Sally & Daniel to Dyffryn Gardens - now a Council owned park but originally a private estate. The house is no longer used although it was once an hotel but the grounds are lovely.  http://www.dyffryngardens.org.uk/
